Balkan Bulgarian Airlines Ilyushin IL-18 DVD preview

henrytenby.com During the 1990s, aviation videographer Daniel Frohriep video documented many flights aboard Russian classic airliners before the types were withdrawn from service and replaced with newer western equipment. In this DVD, Daniel takes us for exciting flights aboard Balkan IL-18 LZ-BEH, which was still in its former LOT Polish colours. On November 2, 1998, we join the crew and passengers for an exciting departure from Sofia to Budapest. The following day we join the crew for an early morning departure on a cargo haul from Budapest down to Algiers, hauling a load of chirping day old chicks. The cabin door is opened during the taxi in and the superb howl of her four Ivchenko turboprop engines is music to the ears! Filmed with special assistance from Balkan IL-18 Chief Pilot Captain Racho Tossunov, this unique DVD presents exterior footage, nice and noisy engine starts, as well as cabin, flightdeck, inflight engine views and landing views. Truly a must have DV Total running time of: 88 minutes 4X3 screen format
