Smoking ban ‘too severe', say MPs

According to DISY MP Andreas Themistocleous, who prepared the proposal, the current smoking ban is not being adhered to, with members of the public smoking freely in entertainment venues – especially bars and nightclubs - in direct violation of the law, which came into effect in January this year.
